Community Services provides a broad range of services for Chestermere and South East Rocky View. Contact us for more information.
With the right information, families, individuals and communities can flourish. The Community Resource Coordinator can help you problem solve, and will direct you to resources that can be of further assistance. The Community Resource Centre is a free, drop-in service that offers Chestermere and South East Rocky View residents support:
- Family support
- Referrals and assistance with basic needs
- Food bank referrals
- Accessing Government support programs
- Youth, adult, family and senior programs
- Financial concerns
- Good Food Box Program
- Registries: Babysitting, Day Home

If you are in need of a volunteer or would like to become a volunteer, please contact Community Services at 403-207-7060 and we will add you to our Everyday Angel volunteer database to connect you with people in your neighborhood.

If you’d like to make a donation of either cash, non-perishable food, or hygiene products, please contact Community Services at 403-207-7060.
Cash donations help provide perishables like fresh bread, milk, eggs and produce.

If you experiencing crisis and are in need of a food hamper please call Community Services at 403-207-7060, Monday– Friday,
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Food hampers are provided by
Chestermere Regional Food Bank.

The Good Food Box is a program whereby you can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables for a very low cost!

40+ Lbs. produce =$30
30+ Lbs produce =$25
20+ Lbs. produce =$20
The selection of fruits and vegetables will vary with selection and wholesale costs.
Orders may include: bananas, apples, melons, carrots, corn, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, green peppers, grapefruits, lettuce, lime, onions, oranges, potatoes, tomatoes.
Requests must be accompanied by a cash payment before the order deadline.

This lunch meeting, held 3 times a year, is an opportunity for organizations that provide community support, intervention, education and/or preventative programs to residents of South East Rockyview area, to network and be updated on services available for residents.
Upcoming dates are: May 9th and Sept 12th.

We match younf people with adult volunteer mentors to spend one-to-one time
together in the community or at a school once a week. Mentors and mentees
learn new things and invest in their community while building a relationship.
