Every Thursday from 6:30-7:30 at Langdon School.

We are Youth Encouraging Lasting Leadership (YELL) and we are looking for you! If you are between the ages of 12-18, join YELL!

YELL (Youth Encouraging Lasting Leadership) was created to provide a voice for the youth in the community. YELL helps youth th achieve their goals while encouraging personal growth opportunities, leadership development, skill building and by providing youth a chance to excel.


YELL members learn how to take the lead in planning various community events, social and recreational activities and increase growth of opportunities of interest to them. YELL helps to raise awareness of youth related issues and promotes new and exciting opportunities for youth.

Adult Supervisors Needed

YELL is looking for adult supervisors to support the YELL initiatives. Quarterly meetings and fun-filled participation in major YELL events is required. Only those that believe in the power of youth need apply!

Ceramix

Ceramix is a painting program for all ages. We provide you with the clay bisque, the paint, paint brushes and other tools and you create the masterpiece.
There is no artistic talent required to participate, just use your imagination and we’ll provide you with an inspiration book and helpful staff to spark your creativity.
Once you are done painting we’ll fire it in a kiln to make sure it is durable and food safe.

   Youth: Pizza and Pottery

   Hang out with other youth and let your artistic talents flow.
   Your registration includes your ceramic, all paint and supplies, pop, pizza and munchies.
   Ages: 12-18 yrs old Cost: $15/person
   Where: Chestermere Town Hall (Council Chambers)
   When: Thursday, July 12th 5:00-8:00pm
   This event is sponsored in part by YELL.

   Registration will begin in May 1st in person (Chestermere Town Hall) and by phone   

   (403-207-7060).


   Drop-In

   This drop-in program is available for all skill levels. Start a new piece or finish a piece

   you have already begun in a Ceramix registered program.
   We have a wide variety of ceramic pieces, from plates to mugs and flowers to lions.
   There are no studio fees. Spaces and pieces are limited. First come first serve.
   Ages: All Ages (A parent or guardian must attend with children younger than 9)
   Cost: $10/piece
   The cost is the same for all new pieces and covers your pottery piece,

   paint, supplies, glazing & firing.
   Where: Chestermere Town Hall
   When: Wednesdays, June 20th, July 11th, July 25th, August 8th
   Time: Come and go anytime from 4:30-9:00pm
